Are Restylane® Skinboosters™ a kind of skin care product?
No. Restylane® Skinboosters™ takes hydration to a deeper layer of skin and it is more effective than the skincare products. They are stabilized hyaluronic molecules of non-animal origin, in a smooth, pure, crystal clear gel state produced by unique NASHA® technology. It resembles the skin’s own hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance in the skin for restoring hydrobalance, and in turn, making the skin looks pump, smooth and elastic. It is “the true hydration inside your skin”.
Can Restylane® Skinboosters™ be used with other skin treatments or procedures?
Restylane® Skinboosters™ works well with other skin rejuvenation therapies and energy devices, like laser and skin peeling treatments, enhancing the results of treatments.
Is the effect permanent and do I have to use it repeatedly?
Restylane® Skinboosters™ has proven efficacy. The effect is long-lasting but not permanent. To start with, we recommend 3 treatment sessions, approximately 4 weeks apart, to let the effect build up, and then a maintenance treatment after about 6-9 months. There is no restriction to the frequency of application and you may use it as often as you wish.
How long is the downtime when undergoing Restylane® Skinboosters™ treatment?
Downtime is generally a few days. Patients will experience some swelling and redness after treatment.
Are Restylane® Skinboosters™ products safe?
Yes. They are natural and have been tested and documented. Restylane® products are CE and FDA approved. Restylane® products contain stabilized hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin which closely resembles the natural hyaluronic acid in our skin, thus reducing the risk for allergic reaction.
